Details: Felix Cutillo’s second installment of his Visage series is an eclectic mix which maintains a steady groove, while incorporating music from Felix’s disco, funk and Latin influences. Visage II features tracks written by Stevie Wonder "The Real Thing", performed by Bambu and Todd Rundgrens’s 70’s AM radio hit "I Saw the Light" covered by the critically acclaimed Tokyo-based groovers The Reggae Disco Rockers. The hip-shaking Latin and Brazilian beats that have come to define Visage are preserved in Visage, Vol. II by Truby Trio’s "Jaleo" and the London underground down tempo hit "Airlock" by Shrift. Other highlights on the record include: Crazy Penis’s "Beautiful People" and Ralph Myerz and The Jack Heron Band’s "Think Twice. Visage, Vol. II oozes beautiful French funk bound to grab your attention especially with the massive Parisian club hit of "Attention" by Rouge Rouge. The Budapest lounge ensemble Toy Division continues the funk with "Budapest Resonance". This eclectic mix certainly makes a perfect backdrop for any event or setting.
