Details: In 2012, bass-baritone singer Philippe Sly won the First Prize of the prestigious 2012 Concours Musical International de Montréal, as well as the Opus prize for the « Concert of the Year - Romantic, Post-Romantic and Impressionist Music ». That same year, he presented his first solo album, the critically acclaimed In Dreams, followed in 2013 by Les amants trahis with soprano Hélène Guilmette. With Love’s Minstrels, Philippe Sly leads us in world with folk accents by interpreting great English songs from early 20th century. Poetry, passion and an exceptional voice! En 2012, le baryton-basse Philippe Sly remportait le Premier Prix du prestigieux Concours Musical International de Montréal et le prix Opus dans la catégorie « Concert de l'année – musiques romantique, postromantique, impressionniste ». La même année, il sortait son premier album, En Rêves, qui a été acclamé par la critique. On a pu ensuite l’entendre sur Les amants trahis, aux côtés de la soprano Hélène Guilmette. Avec Love’s Minstrels, Philippe Sly nous entraîne dans un univers aux accents folk, avec des interprétations de chansons anglaises du début 20e siècle. Poésie, passion et une voix d’exception!
