Though Osborne's vocals have drawn comparisons to Michael Stipe (and some of the music is reminiscent of R.E.M.), Fight for Love incorporates pointed lyricism and less arty rock. From the friendly opener, "Here in My House" to the psychedelic closer, "Journey," there's melody, tension, and a strong beat.
