Her breast enlargement has been a more fevered topic of debate than her rapping skills, which are generally considered negligible. Yet Kim has a fine rap voice, husky and resonant, and on La Bella Mafia a cornucopia of production talent furnishes her with beats that allow her to flaunt the most under-appreciated of her assets.\nThe best thing here is \"Magic Stick\", an infectious head-nodder built from a B.B. King loop that features 50 Cent, and is better than anything on his own album. Kim comes across like a super-libidinous Missy Elliott on \"Shake Ya Bum Bum\" and \"The Jump Off\", and \"Hold It Now\" even samples the same Beastie Boys track Elliott used on her Under Construction LP.
