Rosemary Clooney's rambunctious \"Mambo Italiano\" (which had an earlier soundtrack life as a cut in\nBig Night) leads things off, and the action doesn't really stop till\nLouis Prima's \"Buono Sera\" 40 minutes later. Two vintage R\u0026amp;B cuts from Clarence \"Frogman\" Henry are welcome curveballs to this disc, as is the awe-inspiring cool of\nPaolo Conte on \"Come Di.\" As far as sequencing goes,\nMickey Blue Eyes is one of those rare soundtracks that doesn't hide the score at the end of the disc--Basil Poledouris's music seasons the entire album. The jazzy orchestrations he contributes fit the kitschy mood of this disc perfectly. The only problem with this soundtrack?
