Unfortunately, a confrontation leads to the death of everyone who might provide evidence--and Briggs and Shepherd find themselves suspects. One always hopes that a lack of resources will inspire imagination, but \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ci data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eCaught in the Crossfire\u003c\/i\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e is pretty standard in every respect. There's a twist in the plot, but it only works by Hollywood logic; it upends our expectations but doesn't make much sense. Klein isn't very persuasive as a tough guy and Jackson isn't very persuasive as an actor; Rodriguez is livelier, but the dialogue hampers him. The action scenes are shot hand-held, jerky and confusingly edited.
